Hi, it's Justyna and Michal here!

Founders of Warsaw Like A Local during travel

Most travelers visit Warsaw through museums, restaurants and guidebooks. But we believe the best way to understand a place is to sit at someone’s table.

When we travel, we don’t only look for things to see. We look for small, real moments — local homes, honest conversations and stories that don’t feel scripted.

That’s why we run small culinary workshops in our ordinary Warsaw flat.

We are not a restaurant, a cooking school or a large tour company. We are local hosts who enjoy welcoming people into our home and sharing a more personal side of Warsaw.

Food is our starting point, but the workshop is also about conversation — about Polish traditions, everyday life, travel, culture and the small differences between the places we all come from.

Every meeting is a little different, because every group brings its own stories to the table.

For us, these workshops are not a full-time business. We treat them more like a passion project — a way to meet people from different parts of the world, cook together and exchange stories about everyday life, food and culture.

We always try to make our guests feel at home. The biggest compliment we receive is when someone tells us that the workshop felt less like a formal class and more like visiting old friends in Warsaw.

So if you are looking for a polished tourist show, this may not be the place. But if you want a relaxed, home-style experience with real people, real food and honest conversation, we would be very happy to welcome you.

We hope to see you at our table in Warsaw.
